Abbie’s Journey

Abbie is a creator and storyteller passionate about building systems and capturing stories that promote everyone to live their best, most dignified life. Employing her learnings as a Boettcher Scholar at the University of Denver, and her experiences across various social impact sectors, Abbie seeks to create accessible systems where stories can be not just told, but celebrated.

About Abbie

Abbie (she/her/هي) is a menstrual equity advocate, political strategist and community organizer, and a creator of social impact content, including films, advertisements, and UGC content.

At just 21-years-old, Abbie has co-founded Red Equity, a national period poverty organization that has distributed over a half-million period products, hosted 18 paid interns, and supported the passage of laws across several states.

Featured as 22 Under 22 by Her Campus and E.l.f., Abbie’s recent work includes writing a bill in Colorado that aims to provide period products in all public schools.

Abbie attends the University of Denver on a full-ride Boettcher Scholarship, and after serving as Student Body President her Junior year, she is a Senior this year finishing a BA in Public Policy. Abbie also recently graduated from Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) in the Class of 2023.
